Show Your Commitment to Influenza Vaccination

A new tool from the Childhood Influenza Immunization Coalition (CIIC) can help encourage discussion among patients and health providers about the importance of immunization against seasonal influenza.

The coalition has developed statements for display in medical practices and other health care facilities to alert patients that their provider recommends annual flu vaccination. Intended for prominent display and for use on websites, the statements include a list of priority groups for vaccination recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other leading health organizations.

Two version of the statement are available to download: One version for practices and facilities where annual flu vaccination is offered, and a different version for practices that do not offer vaccination but encourage patients to receive it elsewhere. For more information about CIIC, visit its website.
