EIN members recently discussed difficult-to-treat multidrug-resistant (MDR) osteomyelitis infections caused by Gram-negative bacteria.

This month, studies investigating: Inappropriate antibiotic use in spite of C. difficile infection, endocarditis and risk of cancer, drug-resistant gonorrhea in North America, extended-spectrum β-lactamase-producing (ESBL) E. coli in the community, and syphilis serologies in diagnosis and management.
