This month, studies investigating: daily chlorhexidine bathing and reductions in hospital-acquired bloodstream infections; donor-feces infusion for the treatment of recurrent C. difficile infection; ampicillin-ceftriaxone for E. faecalis endocarditis; and early observations from the 2012 fungal meningitis outbreak.
