Better Diagnostic Tests Needed, Says New IDSA Policy Paper

A new IDSA policy paper provides recommendations to help foster the development of improved diagnostics tests that can better identify the cause of infectious diseases and provide faster results.

Updated HIV Primary Care Guidelines Now Available
Updated guidelines reflect the fact that people with HIV are now living normal life spans, and their physicians need to focus on preventive care, including screening for high cholesterol, diabetes and osteoporosis.
Open Forum Infectious Diseases (OFID): IDSA’s New Open Access Journal

IDSA’s new, online publication will begin publishing in early 2014 under the leadership of editor-in-chief, Dr. Paul Sax. Published by Oxford University Press, the journal will provide a global forum for the rapid publication of clinical, translational and basic research findings in a fully open access, online journal environment.

IDWeek 2013 Digital Library Now Available
The majority of presentations missed due to the unexpected power outage are now available through IDSA’s digital library, free to all conference attendees.
